Remote Insert - Troubleshooting on the mac

Double-clicking the agent file does not open the agent

File extension .cxt is not associated with the cxt-agent application

Solution

If you get a “cannot open” or “file spy” file warning, you will need to change the file association for .cxt files to the cxt-agent applet.

  1. Select the cxt_agent.cxt file in the finder, the press CONTROL + I to open the info panel.

     

  2. Set the default application to cxt-agent-X.X.XX.app as shown. Once it’s selected, the “change all” button will be available. Select it and enter the admin password to change the file associations.
