Steps to enable CineXPlugins on an Apple Silicon Mac
For troubleshooting see Troubleshooting cineXsuite on Apple Silicon Chips
If running a Mac with an Apple Silicon based processor (M1, M2, M3), for Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve please follow these steps before opening your NLE:
In the applications folder on your Mac, find the Resolve or Premiere Pro app, alternatively you can command click on the dock icon
Do not open the app. Right click on the app and choose “Get Info”
In the Info window check the box for “Open Using Rosetta” and close the window
Reopen Resolve/Premiere Pro and you should now be able to use the Cinedeck Plugin
This checkbox will cause the application to no longer run as a native Apple Silicon process and may negatively affect performance.
