The input tab regulates the “physical inputs” to the Cinedeck recorder: SDI or IP video, LTC, IRIG or IP timecode, SDI, AES, or IP audio.
It also has settings for how to handle events occurring while recording, like dropped frames or lost input.
When you select “auto detect” the input resolution be detected and a green lamp should be illuminated at the bottom of the screen. If not, confirm that there is actually a signal and that the connection is good. For situations where you do not yet have an active source, you can manually select the appropriate resolution.
