OLDCinedeck Client UI Overview

The Cinedeck 2.0 Client UI is designed to provide all the power and flexibility of the original Cinedeck interface, but in a clean, modern, highly usable and customizable package.

All input, recording and naming parameters are easily accessible, but may be hidden to provide a clean desktop optimized for record operators during a program or event. User levels are available to differentiate between admins and operators. A guest mode is available for non-technical stakeholders to observe the recording without the risk of “pressing the wrong button”.

It is built on the Cinedeck REST API, so any feature that is present in the UI (and many that are not) is available to third parties to leverage the Cinedeck software.

Each control or control set is toggled on/off by icons in the secondary program bar or by keyboard command.

Most control sets may pop out to take advantage of multi-monitor setups
