Client UI - Working with Projects

The Cinedeck Client UI allows the quick recall of settings to be able to switch between different configurations and move the entire contents of a client setup to another machine.

The Client config file saves the following for recall:

• Deck and channel assignments for the Multi-view display and for the CaptureGrid

• Presets and preset channel assignments

• Groups

• Schedules

This feature allows you to set up your Cinedeck/s for your current production and quickly change setup for a different production merely by loading a config file.

To save a client config:

Click on the gear icon in the Client UI and it will open the project settings dialog

From this dialog select Export and chose your location

To recall a client config:

Click on the gear icon in the Client UI and it will open the project settings dialog

From this dialog select Import and chose your file location and select load

The dialog will then ask if you would like to use the current path for the presets or specify a different path.

If you select old your current preset path will be used, you can also choose a different folder if your new config requires different presets.
