Group control
Group controls allow the user to control record or playback on more than one channel at once. Actions apply to all members of the group and the group can selected either as an ad-hoc group by holding down the shift key and clicking on the previews, or by selecting one of the saved groups.
It is critical with groups that all inputs in the group are in the same state when attempting to use group control. A group that has one channel in a record state and another in an idle state will disable the use of the group controls.
