These are physical card configuration options only. Encoding capacity will still be determined by the codec's used and the server’s processing power.
In/out options and configuration for DeckLink 8K Pro.
Single DeckLink 8K Pro:
If a single card is used it can be configure as 2in/20ut or 4in/0out.
In 2in/2out UI mode the server uses (from the bottom of the card) connectors 2 and 3 for capture and 4 and 5 for E to E monitoring or file playback. Connector 1 is Genlock.
In 4in/out UI mode Cinedeck will capture without external E to E monitoring, however each channel can still be used for record and playback with SDI i/o managed via an external router.
Dual DeckLink 8K Pro:
If a 2 cards are used they can be configure as 4in/40ut or 8in/0out.
