Troubleshooting Guide

 

  • nvcuda.dll error: Either GPU is not installed or you don't have one, if you don't an Nvidia GPU you may have installed the MX version instead of the RX server version. See: CD2 Cinedeck Server Installation

 

  • If after Cinedeck server software launch via remote, you can't see the software or only a white window appears, you need to attach a monitor to the server or use a virtual monitor emulator.

 

  • To reset Cinedeck Client UI to default state:

  1. Close Client app

  2. Remove folder C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Cinedeck Client2

  3. .Open Client app

  4. If you need to remove or backup your presets they are found in C:\Users\User\Documents\Cinedeck Client\presets

 

  • Cinedeck server does not boot and goes into a crash loop:

  1. End the Server Task in windows task manager

  2. Go to the C:\Program Files\Cinedeck\cinedeck_server_2.0.version folder

  3. Delete the C:\Program Files\Cinedeck\cinedeck_server_2.0.14\projects folder

  4. Delete the config.ini file in C:\Program Files\Cinedeck\cinedeck_server_2.0.version folder

  5. Delete the prefs.ini file in C:\Program Files\Cinedeck\cinedeck_server_2.0.version folder

  6. Start the Cinedeck server software
