  • The Cinedeck machine should be powered off

  • Turn off and push out any front storage drives. Remove or disconnect any USB or SATA drives.

  • Insert the Restore USB to one of the backpanel black USB ports. I normally use either of the two ports closest to the power plugs.

  • Insert a keyboard.

  • Power up the Cinedeck machine and keep tapping the delete key to enter the BIOS.

  • Go to the last page of the BIOS and under boot override, select the Restore USB.

  • The restore process will begin to load. You will be prompted twice to press 'y' and enter to confirm you want to deploy the image.

  • You will see a blue screen with red progress bar. This process should take around 10-20 mins.

  • If you do not see a blue screen with red progress bar(shown above) and the screen goes to the Power off, Reboot, Enter command line prompt screen(shown below). Please try a different USB port and repeat the process. The restore process should take 10-20 mins.

  • After the progress bar reaches 100%, and you reach the screen below, the restore is complete. Select power off.

  • Remove the Restore USB, turn on and reconnect any storage drives.

  • Power up the unit.
