In addition to ingest functionality, Cinedeck servers provide baseband (where applicable) and IP “E to E” channel monitoring, as well as video clip playback, Audio monitoring, Control and synchronization options.

SDI I/O
Cinedeck used to exclusively support video cards from Bluefish, however additional manufacturer’s card support is now being continually added . Details of supported cards can be found on the following page SDI Capture and Playback I/O cards supported for use with CD2 - Software ingest
Compressed IP I/O
Cinedeck suports SRT & NDI IP video sources natively, as well as SMPTE 2110 with an optional IP2110 Network Interface Card.

Audio
SDI Embedded
Cinedeck supports up to 16channels of embedded audio, per server channel.
AES Audio
Cinedeck ZX85 servers support 4 pairs of unbalanced AES audio. Audio source is available to all ingest channels.
Dante
Cinedeck supports Dante I/O via Dante Virtual soundcard (ASIO). Audio source is available to all ingest channels
ASIO compatible interface
Cinedeck supports ASIO compatible devices for audio I/O. Audio source is available to all ingest channels
Timecode
Cinedeck supports imbedded timecode from video sources ( SDI, NDI, SRT) and here Timecode option is available, Cinedeck supports unbalanced LTC & IRIG timecode. For multi channel recordings it is recommended to select a single source of external time keeping, such as LTC for frame accurate synchronisation.
Audio Monitoring
2 channel (L/R) monitoring is available via client workstation or server sound card or analogue monitoring outputs ( where available). Clicking on audio pair in
PCI Expansion slot for external storage
All Cinedeck severs have at least 1 PCI slot available for additional storage connectivity ( Fibre Channel, high speed ethernet etc).
