Be sure you have checked the installation prerequisites before attempting to install.

The selected root page could not be found.

For Cinedeck Server updates, please contact Support via the Jira support portalhttp://cinedeck.com/supportand provide the deck serial number(s) and an active support contract number or site license ID.

Once the update has been received:

  • Download the server Zip package from the link provided to you by support.

    • Unzip the installer MSI

  • Double-click to install

  • If UAC shows the Windows protected your PC dialog, select “More info”

  • Select “Run Anyway”

  • The installer will run

  • To start the Cinedeck Server, double-click the shortcut on the desktop

Troubleshooting

On the PC, it is critical that the user account used for installation has full Administrator privileges or certain parts of the installation will fail, even if user provides Admin password during the install process.
