Download the ConneX application and double click to install
Select “File” > “Settings”
The “Public Key” is what you will be emailing to sales@cinedeck.com, or your Cinedeck contact.
With the “Public Key” your Cinedeck contact will generate a “Secret Key”
When you receive the “Secret Key” by email, you will save it on the system that you’re runnng ConneX.
Then, select “Browse”, and select the Secret Key file.
Great! Now the your ConneX software is licensed.
Please note, that if you run a new / different version of ConneX, that you will need to generate a new Secret Key and you will have a new Public Key.

Start with downloading and installing the latest version of ConneX. Find it in here.
When you open the installer you may see a dialog that says “Microsoft Detender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk.”

This dialog appears because ConneX has not been submitted to Microsoft for malware analysis but the installer is safe and free of malware and viruses. To continue click “More info” and you should see a “Run Anyway” button appear next to “Don’t Run”. |

You will need admin privileges to install the current version of ConneX and, if not using an admin account in Windows you will see a dialog like the one below. Future versions of ConneX will make this easier, only requiring admin privileges on the first install, but not on most updates. |
