Licensing the server
On first startup, the application will then open the EULA. Scroll through it and select “accept” if you would like to proceed.

If your product is already registered (by default this is done for you unless you bought it used) Press the “already registered” choice to proceed and the application will open.

The application will then start up if there is a license file already.
If not, the first time the application is run no license will be detected and a dialog will appear requiring action.
Note! If you have already licensed one version of the software on any given machine, you can just copy the license.data file from a previous Server installation to any other Server installation on the same machine.

For now, copy the challenge code and email to sales@cinedeck.com along with the serial number of the unit and support status. Launch Cinedeck Server Software:
After launching, you'll be presented with the End User License Agreement (EULA).
Read through the agreement carefully.

Select License Option:
Once you've agreed to the EULA, you'll be presented with options to license the server.
Choose the second option: "I am an end user registering the server for the first time." (fig 3.)

Obtain Hash Key:
Selecting the above option will display a hash key on the screen.
Copy this key and email it to Cinedeck: (sales@cinedeck.com) along with your license duration and order number.

You will receive an email back with a licence file, which you can select in this dialogue box and license file.
Save the license on the server.
Click on “apply license key”.
A pop-up will appear where you can select supplied license.
Select the license file and click on apply.

the license is applied successfully, your server(s) will be licensed and ready for use.
If you have multiple Cinedeck Servers, repeat steps for each server.
