Once you’ve logged your clips they can be played back on another Cinedeck channel using the push to play out feature. Click the plus button in the upper right and choose push to playout.

Once push to playout appears next to the plus button, click the three dots next to it and choose setup. In the setup menu. Under push to playout settings, you can set up input channels, encoders, output channels, and playlists.

  • Input channel is the input on which the marker what logged

  • Encoder is the the type of file (primary or proxy) that you’d like to play out

  • Output channel is the channel on the Cinedeck from which you’d like to play the clip

  • Playlist is the playlist you want the clip added to

If you need to create a playlist you will want to do so in the Cinedeck Client by following these instructions. Multiple play out options can be configured by clicking the plus button. Once you have all of your channels and outputs specified click done. Now select a clip in the marker list and click the push to playout button. The logged clip will be loaded on the specified channel for playback.

  • The client displays the corresponding playlist and marker names, and allows jumping to clips.
