To set up ConneX to send files to Wasabi follow the following steps:

Login into Wasabi and Create the bucket with name and region

1. 

2. Open Access Keys and Create access key for the root user

   

3. Save access-key= and secret-key=

4. Add settings into ConneX

Connect to S3

1. Login IAM console

2. Open Users → Click on your user → Click Create Access Key

3. Your keys will look something like this:

   • Access key ID example: AKIAIOSFODNN7EXAMPLE

   • Secret access key example: wJalrXUtnFEMI/K7MDENG/bPxRfiCYEXAMPLEKEY

4. Click Download Credentials, and store the keys in a secure location.

6. Open S3 → You can use the existing bucket or create a new one. So save the name of the bucket and regions. Example: olga-test-bucket, us-east-1

   Put saved data into the box setting:

   Once the access key is visible choose copy keys to clipboard and paste them into a text document. From the text document copy the access key and secret key and paste them into the ConneX node.

9. Go to your bucket list and copy the bucket name and region into the ConneX node.
