File naming is largely based on variables or “wildcards” that are filled in when the record button is pressed. This way, changing data like the time, date, start timecode, take count, etcetera can be easily incorporated into file names without a lot of effort, as seen below.

Cinedeck servers can write any encoded file redundantly to 2 separate locations. Once 2 locations are available ( Either locally or mapped), redundant file write can be configured in the encoder configuration pages and 2 separate Record Destinations can be selected. Additionally the path can start at the root of the drives, or the templated path can be overridden by selecting a folder available within the storage location.
